Meeting the temp [Ito and Zethui]

The classroom was completely empty - as was most of the academy building. Enrollment rates were down, as were graduation rates - although the last exam had been particularly hard, testing some new standards, and the number of genin was microscopic compared to the number of active jounin. In a time of peace, it meant that the missions for jounin were few and far between - which was why Ito, a single, solitary jounin, had only a single-solitary student.

Each had been sent a letter explaining their placement, and had been instructed to meet at the designated classroom just before noon.

Ito read the letter again and sighed, walking into the classroom. He wanted to be doing nothing in his doctor's office but APPARENTLY that was too much to ask. Ito shifted, stupidly dressed in his full on ninja outfit, gloves in his pouch as he looked around the classroom.

Nostalgia didn't bring him back, most of his training had been by the medical ninja anyway, his combat skills were basic and centered, while a decent ninjutsu specialist, the rest of him seemed a bit off. Ito really was a rock and rolla, not a ninja. He didn't look like he had belonged since day one, and playing a bass, was so much better. He yawned and sat at the instructors desk and put his feet up on the table, leaning back and slowly rocking back and forth on the desk. The only real classes he had taught were to medical ninja.

He started humming, the soft sound rolling out as he yawned. His voice wasn't the best, but the notes were on queue, he wished he was at home with his bass, relaxing instead of taking a newbie on missions, but he guessed someone a little higher up probably thought it was a good thing for him to get out.

The clock ticked eleven fifty as Ito took the bass in the case slung over his shoulder out with a small amplifier, the sound radiating slowly after he turned it on. He closed his eyes and slowly began strumming. The sound softly radiating around the room, he normally played rock but this was what he did too relax.

After a few minutes he stopped and turned up the amplifier, his eyes still closed. Tapping his hand softly to start off the next song. Ito probably wouldn't stop until someone brought him out of his stupor and actually made him open his eyes.

[Shinekai Xinia]

Xinia recieved a letter from management stating that he had to report to the academy and meet someone named Ito. Xinia wasn't quite sure why he was being made to go to the academy but he had his suspicions. He had failed his Chuunin exams and recently had his Sensei quit teaching him. Both of these instances happened because of his bloodline curse. He had failed his exam because he wasn't focused after witnessing the horror of his own bloodline's hunger. The second occurred after a light training day turned very ugly.

He and his Sensei were practicing pinpoint accuracy with ranged weapons. A small mishap lead to grave consequences. Early in their training, his Sensai pricked his finger by accident with a Senbon. His sensai gave a startled look at Xinia immediately. He hated that look and wished no one knew of his dark secret. Xinia simply smiled it off and focused on throwing a wide assortment of Kunia. He didn't want his Sensei to know that from the moment he pricked his finger, the Nara blood that flowed through his veins made Xinia's hunger scream. Determined to not allow for his appetite to get the better of him, he simply tried to ignore it and focus on the training at hand. If it was just a matter of time or growing frustration from his training's difficulty, he wasn't sure. But within a hour, he soon found himself attacking his sensai with the fervor of a madman. It the Nara didn't pull off a simple Binding jutsu to restrain Xinia in time, one of them might be either dead or missing a limb at this time. That was the last time he saw his sensei. Xinia couldn't blame him. But now he was being demoted to a student's level again and wasn't too happy about it.

He finally found the correct room and lightly rapped on the door. After hearing an obnoxious noise coming from inside, he decided to enter. Within the room, he saw only a lone person that was playing some kind of instrument. Xinia simply took a seat and watched the guy make a fool of himself. Xinia chuckled several times as the man's face seemed to have shriveled up as if he had ate a whole lemon. He wondered if this guy had escaped the loony bin and was hiding in plain site.

[Flash]

"Morning new guy! My name is Ito."

Ito said as he pushed his hand onto a scroll, the instrument bampfing into another dimension as he put the small scroll away and took out two gloves with small strings wrapped around each finger.

"According to the bosses, I get to be your personal Jounin. So tell me about yourself... The short version I actually don't care one bit, I'm doing what I'm supposed to do as told by this piece of paper."

He said handing the Genin a list of 'to do' when you get a Genin team, to be honest, and from the look of it, Ito did not give a care about what he was supposed to do, he was trying to be formal. He hadn't ever been given more than one underling in his life and most of the time it was a Medical Chunnin, this time they had given him a combat ninja. Which, was a first.

"Yea fuck this, forgive my french, when was the last time you came to a Reckoner's concert, I play the bass. I'm a medical freak, but can hold my own, don't ask me to kill anyone, and I'm here because the higher ups said you have issues with clan based ninja. So because most of the other normal Jounin were busy I get to train you. If you have questions, ask them now or forever hold your peace. I'll get you right into this if you want, if you don't, we can start tomorrow, it would be nice to know what you can do before we start getting more missions on your record so you pass the next Chunnin exams, mainly because I have no faith in myself passing them again. I'm supposed to be optimistic to lower ranked ninja."

[Shinekai Xinia]

Well, since you don't care, I'm Shinekai Xinia. I am a Suiton user mostly but dab in Kenjutsu some.

He wasn't sure what the deal with this guy was. He didn't seem like any Jounin he had encountered before. Maybe the powers that be were worried about him and decided to give him lessons from the bottom of the barrel. He did smell the distinct smell of Raiton mixed within the sensei's blood. It wasn't more then a hint but enough for Xinia to realize that he hunger was safer around Ito then his last sensei. The smell of pure blood was intoxicating and spilled blood was almost like a drug, calling his name.

The Sensei went on about music and what the higher ups were concerned with. It would seem that Xinia was partially right. He wondered how such a chaoticly minded person would handle training. In his experience, training was tedious and repetitive motions until such task was mastered. This guy seemed like he would be as unpredictable as the wind

[Flash]

"While we're here."

Ito said as he broke the desk in front of him, it belonged to his least favorite teacher anyway.

"See you at training ground 3, assuming Miss Hikama doesn't pull you back into the academy for destroying school property."

Ito said as he jumped out the window, just wondering how the kid would deal with it, most likely retaliation for laughing at him earlier, to which Ito just didn't really care about, but it gave him a reason to do it anyway. A single string flashed up to the nearest ledge and suspended Ito for a moment before he started jumping from tree to tree, in faggot ninja fashion. Dropping after a few and beginning to walk towards the training ground. He was a lazy ass rock star, and if he wasn't in the ER there was no real reason to care about time. He figured the other ninja hated him but what can you say when you don't care, and were forced into a mess in the first place. Ito was a bad ninja, that was not new information. Though he was a bad ass, when he had to be.

[Shinekai Xinia]

Several teachers heard the loud crash coming from the room they occupied. But before the first of the bunch reached the door, Ito was gone. Xinia didn't know what to think about his new sensai's actions. Xinia stood up and stared coldly into the newly arriving onlookers. He didn't feel the need to explain himself a surely didn't care if he was seen as a brat or troublemaker. He knew that within his core, he was neither. But doubted himself because of his dark gift sometimes.

Excuse me

Three people probably twice his age parted with mouths agape. Xinia smirked himself once his back was facing them. Onwards to the training grounds, Xinia took his time. He figured that the new sensai would expect his to be late on account of explaining about the desk. He enjoyed the relaxed journey there. It gave him a bit of time to think about his new situation. The new sensai was odd. And not just a little bit. He started to figure that if the Sensai could break the mold, maybe he could try to break out of his own mold. He didn't see himself warming up to Ito, but maybe he could share in some of the same folly.

As Xinia grew close to the training grounds, he watched for any sign of Ito. If he saw a opportunity for payback of the broken desk prank.

[Flash]

Ito was half sleeping against his tree as he waited for the other ninja to show up. His eyes closed as his gloves were no longer on his hands but somewhere back in his ninja pouch, which was placed against the tree. He was drifting, more thinking, hell pondering would be a bad word for it; as such a word did not describe how out of touch he was. He was trying to come up with some way to honestly train another ninja. He had no idea what to do to teach someone else, most of his life had been trail and error.

[Shinekai Xinia]

As Xinia made his way along a wide berth of the training grounds, he surmised that the sensai had gone into a lethargic state near a tree. It made any form of surprise attack complicated since only a frontal attack was open. From the rear, he would have to take out the tree to get to him. from the side, he had to traverse several other trees to get into a open shot. At first he didn't see the last option but soon it appeared before his eyes.

Slowly he crept as close to the tree that Ito was wishing had a hammock attached to. When he was at the adjoining tree, he used the tree climbing technique to shimmy up to the top. Once at the top, he had a completely open shot at the sensai.

Now time for some fun

Making 3 handseals, he created a blast of water to shoot from his mouth. Creating a circle with his thump and pointer finger and pressing it to his lips, he was able to control the direction the stream went. Instead of shooting it directly at his new sensai, he shot it directly into the air. When the water came down, it had divided into thousands of large rain drops. Soon, the Sensai was getting drenched by rain under a cloudless sky.

[Flash]

Somewhere between "Feel good" and "Another way to die" playing off in his head, Ito shifted, his body shifted, yawning as his mouth was filled abruptly by water, his clothing soaking as his arms flailed, he hit his head, grabbing his skull and sprawling on the ground a second later, rolling along the grass the opposite direction of the tree.

"SON OF A -"

The ninja said as he twisted before getting up, holding his head. He spit out the remainder of the water as he looked at the other ninja. He twitched.

"Ok, so you don't like me, I don't like you. Explain the reason you can't be around the clan Jounin. So, now that you've royally pissed me off we can be as boring learning stupid boring stuff."

Ito said as blood dripped over his eye from the underside of his hand, letting the wound go, a small cut drizzling down his forehead. His hands went together, two seals forming as the wound began healing itself right in front of the other ninja.

"Healing Wound Destruction..."

He said under his breath. It was just about then that Xinia would notice, his new jounin was a perfect match for him, stupid, unkempt, and amazing at healing destruction. What was even worse was the smell of his electric chakra, even people who had trained for years weren't like his Jounin, he was just, lacking tact and true motivation.

"So, you want to learn something or mission?"
