The Hunt [Ito and Naki]

It didn't take long for Naki to arrive at the gates. The Hunter Nin had been on duty when the call had come in, all of his gear already with him. It still didn't make sense why he was being saddled with a doctor for this mission. With his luck he would have to spend the whole time babysitting the medic and the target would get away.

Of course if that happened, then Naki would be the one getting in shit for it. Fucking great. The Hunter made an exasperated motion, mentally cursing his ill fortune.

[Flash]

"You look tense, want a back massage?"

Ito joked as he cracked his neck and ushered his hand forward, his gloves still inside his ninja pouch. He shifted and waited for Naki to bolt off using basic ninja speed and running techniques.

"Well, I have no clue how to find people, take point."

Ito said as he shifted and waited to follow Naki out.

"I won't get involved unless you end up almost dead, I really doubt I'm needed."

The folder Naki was given would provide basic instructions to a small village on the south side of the valley, the last known location of the criminal.

Naki nodded solemnly. At least the medic had the sense to stay out of the way when not needed. Unlike some of the other babysitting jobs he'd had to do, this one wasn't starting out as complete shit. He motioned towards the south and started to head in that direction, keeping in mind not to stray too far from the medic. Last thing he needed was some doctor getting ambushed because he couldn't keep up.

Ito just bolted slightly behind Naki, who was probably faster than the medic but he wasn't that far ahead. Ito constantly looked around wondering what was going on. He didn't care what he had to do with this mission, leave it to the Hunter-nin, and wonder his way off.

Ito wanted this to end quickly, he had better things to do than go galavanting around with a hunter-nin after some missing freak who had no idea what he was doing.
