The central pillar is the hub of the village, built on a massive pillar of stone. To get from almost any point in the village to anywhere else, one must pass through the center pillar. To the west is the Kage Tower, as well as the Hospital, Academy, and ANBU headquarters. To the north is the residential area, as well as the two orphanages. To the south is the business district, as well as the secret path through which supplies travel. To the east, the valley opens up, leading to the majority of Stone's defenses. The center pillar has some vegetation and shrubbery, as well as a few small trees. In the center is a large fountain, and the effect is akin to that of a public park.
